Two of the four inmates who escaped from the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on Sunday are back in custody.

Deputies say 21-year-old Travon Johnson and 19-year-old Avery Guidry were caught hiding in a dumpster behind the Dollar General Store on Pumpkin Center Road at Old Baton Rouge Highway, more than 20 miles from the jail.

Investigators say 19-year-old Omarion Hookfin and 20-year-old Jamarcus Cyprian are still on the loose.

The escapees had been locked up for homicide, armed robbery, and other serious offenses.
