A 90-year-old Air Force veteran says he can finally retire.
A woman encountered Dillon McCormick pushing shopping carts in the Winn-Dixie parking lot in Metairie on Memorial Day. She started a GoFundMe account for McCormick, and people nationwide delivered.
By Tuesday afternoon, there were more than 4,000 donations totaling over $220,000.
The fundraiser is now closed, and McCormick says the response was "like a miracle."
