Widespread construction projects are underway in New Orleans as the city prepares to welcome Super Bowl LIX next February.
The Superdome and the surrounding area are experiencing significant upgrades. The work involves lane closures on some downtown streets.
California-based venue and event management company ASM Global says 400 projects will be carried out on the basis of need and funding.
Weekly meetings are ongoing in order to measure progress and make sure everything is finished on time.
