The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is reporting ten arrests for drunken boating on Memorial Day Weekend.

The arrests took place from Saturday, May 25th, to Monday, May 27th.

In Louisiana, operating a boat while intoxicated counts the same as a DWI arrest, and can result in fines, jail time, and loss of boating privileges.

On the plus side, Wildlife and Fisheries reported no boating fatalities over the holiday weekend.
