St. Augustine HS Band To Perform In France For 80th Anniversary Of D-Day

The St. Augustine High School band is heading to France to perform for celebrations of the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Band Director Ray Johnson Sr. and 112 band members will make the trip.

Johnson says the band will perform at both cemeteries for U.S. soldiers, as well as a concert in Paris.

Donors and the National WWII Museum in New Orleans picked up the $700,000 tab for the seven-day experience of a lifetime.
