Cantrell To Address Detroit Energy Conference In September

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell will speak later this year at an energy conference in Detroit.

The second annual Recess24 at Huntington Place downtown is scheduled for September 9-11.

The event's website says Recess is an acronym for "Resilience and Equity in the Clean Energy Sector Summit."

Recess24 seeks to advance participation in the clean energy industry by black and brown people.

Mayor Cantrell is one of the featured speakers, along with Mayor Mike Duggan and Michigan Lt. Governor Farlin Gilchrist.
