Three Arrested After Ruckus During NOLA City Council Meeting

Three people are in custody after making a violent scene in New Orleans City Council chambers on Thursday.

Just before noon, the suspects started the disturbance and refused to leave when police told them to.

Byron Cole, Rhadell Cole, and Shawn Myles are charged with disturbing the peace, battery of a police officer, and resisting arrest. Rhadell Cole also faces a charge of criminal property damage.

The council resumed their meeting around 1:45 p.m.
