Kickoff Times, "Windows" For LSU Football Games Released

Tiger fans planning their football tailgates and road trips now have a little more clarity on when games will actually start.

The Southeastern Conference and ESPN announced Tuesday more broadcast details for the 2024 football season, the first where games will air exclusively on either an ESPN network or ABC.

Starting with Week 4, all SEC-controlled games will air within one of the following broadcast windows (all times Central):

  • Early: 11am to Noon start
  • Afternoon: 2:30pm to 3:30pm start
  • Night: 5pm to 7pm start
  • Flex: Games will air between the Afternoon and Night windows

The conference says exact start times will be announced no later than six days prior.

Here's how LSU's schedule looks right now, including the already announced game times and networks for the first three weeks of the season.

  • 9/1: USC vs. LSU from Las Vegas (6:30pm, ABC)
  • 9/7: Nicholls at LSU (6:30pm, ESPN+/SEC Network+)
  • 9/14: LSU at South Carolina (11am, ABC)
  • 9/21: UCLA at LSU (Flex)
  • 9/28: South Alabama at LSU (6:45pm, SEC Network)
  • 10/12: Ole Miss at LSU (Night)
  • 10/19: LSU at Arkansas (Night)
  • 10/26: LSU at Texas A&M (Flex)
  • 11/9: Alabama at LSU (Flex)
  • 11/16: LSU at Florida (Flex)
  • 11/23: Vanderbilt at LSU (Night)
  • 11/30: Oklahoma at LSU (Flex)

The SEC Championship will be on Dec. 7 at 3pm on ABC.
