Saints RB Alvin Kamara Skips Final Minicamp Practice Over Contract

The Saints did not have their star running back on the field for their final practice of mandatory minicamp.

NFL Network reports that tailback Alvin Kamara's absence from the third day of minicamp was contract-related.

Kamara was at the facility for the team walk-through but departed shortly before practice was opened to media.

The 28-year-old has two years remaining of a five-year, $77 million deal that he inked with the team in September 2020.
