More information is being revealed about the man accused of attacking his mother with a chainsaw in New Orleans.
John Pittman is charged with attempted murder in the attack on Monday.
Prosecutors say Pittman was out on bond and facing charges accusing him of beating an elderly man at Union Passenger Station nearly a year ago.
Pittman's bonds for both cases now total more than $1 million
He is a graduate of Xavier University and worked as a pharmacy tech for Walgreens.
