The 2024 Sugar Bowl Country Kickoff concert is canceled.
The show was scheduled for August 31 at the Superdome and was intended to kick off the start of the college football season during Labor Day weekend.
The second annual concert was going to feature Eric Church, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, and Ashley McBryde.
The cancellation was announced on Ticketmaster's website, which gave no explanation. Ticket buyers will receive refunds within 14 to 21 days.
