Two men are in custody in Jefferson Parish and accused of credit card skimming.

A deputy reportedly spotted the pair in action around 2 a.m. Friday on Veterans Boulevard in Metairie.

The two men, described as Romanian nationals, were reportedly withdrawing money from ATMs with compromised credit and debit cards.

Deputies say a search of the suspects' car turned up skimming equipment. The men were arrested for illegal card skimming and fraud.

One skimmer was found, but detectives say there are probably more.
