The Saints will no longer hold joint practices with the reigning NFC champions this week.
New Orleans and San Francisco have mutually decided to cancel the joint sessions that were scheduled for Thursday and Friday in Irvine ahead of their preseason matchup Sunday night.
According to reports, the cancellation was due in large part to the mounting injuries that have plagued the Niners during training camp.
Meanwhile, the Saints are back to work after starting their preseason with a win Saturday over the Arizona Cardinals 16-14.
Charlie Smyth made a game-winning 37-yard field goal with five seconds remaining to send the Saints to victory.
Spencer Rattler completed 9-of-17 passes for 70 yards, while adding eight rushing yards and a TD on the ground.
Blake Grupe was 2-for-2 on his field goal attempts.
In other news, the team has signed wide receiver Shaquan Davis and waived fellow wideout Marquez Callaway.
