Sentencing is next month for a Slidell man convicted of killing a co-worker.
A St. Tammany Parish jury convicted Brian Taylor, 25, of manslaughter last Friday. Taylor was accused of the 2022 shooting death of Zakary Stewart at a Hyundai auto dealership after the two of them got into a fight.
Taylor faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years in prison because he used a gun. The maximum sentence is 40 years.
Taylor's sentencing hearing will take place on September 4.
