The Saints are continuing to shape their roster leading into the regular season.
New Orleans has waived running back Kene Nwangwu one day after claiming him off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings.
The team has also signed offensive tackle Austin Deculus and tight end Treyton Welch to the practice squad, while releasing tight end Mason Fairchild.
The Saints open the season at home against the Carolina Panthers on September 8.
