Saints Score Early & Often In 47-10 Win Over Panthers

The Saints scored early and often during a 47-10 win over the Carolina Panthers at the Superdome.

Derek Carr hit Rashid Shaheed for a 59-yard touchdown three minutes into the game as the Saints put up 30 before halftime and cruised to victory during the second half.

Carr passed for 200 yards and three touchdowns, while Alvin Kamara picked up 83 yards and a score on the ground.

Alontae Taylor piled up three sacks, and both Will Harris and Jordan Howden picked off Bryce Young.

The Saints have won their last six season openers. They visit the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2.
