There were no major changes for Tropical Storm Francine as of the 7am advisory from the National Hurricane Center.
The storm's maximum sustained winds remained at 65 miles per hour as the system started to move northward at 5 miles per hour.
Francine is still expected to become a hurricane later today.
Forecasters say Francine will build to a Category 2 hurricane before making landfall, bringing a threat of heavy rain, street flooding, high winds, and possible tornadoes across southern Louisiana.
