The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is reporting the rescue of a Donaldsonville woman who was pinned under a tree.
Deputies responded around 8 p.m. Wednesday to the reported incident on Elizabeth and 1st Streets. Hurricane Francine was making its way through south Louisiana at the time.
The fallen tree injured the woman's leg. Her injuries aren't considered life-threatening.
