Tulane lost to 13th-ranked Oklahoma 34-19 on the road in Norman. The Green Wave are now 1-2.
Elsewhere, Southeastern Louisiana defeated Eastern Washington 28-24 in Hammond. The Lions improved to 1-2.
Southern lost to Jackson State 33-15 on the road. The Jaguars are 1-2.
Louisiana returns to action at home against Tulane on Saturday morning.
