Lafourche and Terrebonne Parish Public Schools are open today, following the cleanup from Hurricane Francine.
Lafourche Parish school officials say last week's closure hasn't affected any scheduled breaks or holidays. The Fall Break is still set for October 14-15.
In Terrebonne Parish, Grand Caillou Elementary was a possible holdout because it was the last to have its power restored.
Officials confirmed on Monday evening that the school will be open today.
