A New Orleans high school teacher accused of sex trafficking a Mississippi teenager is now under federal indictment.
Police arrested 36-year-old Aaron Johnson in August. Last Thursday he was indicted for sex trafficking of a minor, engaging a minor in prostitution, and transporting a minor to engage in sexual activity.
Johnson reportedly drove to Vicksburg in March to pick up the 16-year-old girl. He reportedly brought her back to New Orleans, had sex with her at his apartment, and sent her $200 afterward.
If convicted, Johnson faces at least ten years in prison.
