Local Red Cross and Salvation Army chapters are looking for volunteers and donations to help provide relief to Hurricane Helene survivors.
A Red Cross Louisiana executive says volunteer crews rotate into affected areas for two weeks at a time. He says more help is needed since Helene damaged such a large area of the Southeast.
An officer with the Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans says they're serving meals in Georgia, and financial donations help.
