The Saints have received a major blow to their offense.
ESPN is reporting that wide receiver Rashid Shaheed underwent season-ending knee surgery to repair his meniscus and has been placed on injured reserve.
The recovery from a full meniscus repair typically takes four-to-six months, meaning that the speedster's 2024 season has come to a close. He finishes the season with 20 catches for 349 yards and three touchdowns.
The Pro Bowl returner also had a punt return for a touchdown in the team's Week 6 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
