A temporary restraining order issued Friday, to stop state efforts to clear homeless camps near the Superdome, is in effect for another week.

Gov. Jeff Landry ordered Louisiana State Police to move nearly 75 homeless people from camps near the dome ahead of Taylor Swift's concerts.

City officials and homeless advocates grumbled that the action interfered with existing efforts to help the homeless.

A judge issued Friday's TRO in response to a lawsuit filed by people affected by the removals.
