Testimony continues today in the trial of twin brothers accused of defrauding the state out of six figures during the 2020 hurricane season.

Robert McCormick worked for the State Fire Marshal's Office at the time. Prosecutors say he stole public money and diverted it to his brother Thomas McCormick, who reportedly laundered it through a shell company in West Baton Rouge Parish.

State auditors reportedly found that the brothers had bilked the state out of more than $846,000.
