Both of Louisiana's U.S. senators say they would support GOP Congressman Garret Graves's nomination for a Trump cabinet position.
President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly considering Graves for U.S. Secretary of Transportation.
Republican Senators Bill Cassidy and John Kennedy expressed their support for Graves this week.
Graves is a Baton Rouge native who chairs the Aviation Subcommittee on Transportation in the U.S. House of Representatives. He didn't run for reelection this year after his congressional district was redrawn.
