Library Vending Machine Coming To New Orleans Neighborhood

A library vending machine is coming to the Desire neighborhood in New Orleans.

The New Orleans Public Library says the machine will be available inside the Desire/Florida Multi-Service Center.

Residents with a library card will be able to check out more than 200 books and movies.

Library officials say the idea is to bring library services to neighborhoods without a library branch.

The vending machine will be available during the community center's regular hours.
