Buc-ee's Coming to Lafayette In 2026

A popular Texas travel stop chain will soon have its first location in Acadiana.

The Lafayette Economic Development Authority says Buc-ee's plans to build a store and gas station on I-10 at Louisiana Avenue in Lafayette.

The 74,000 sq. ft. travel center will feature about 120 gas pumps.

Buc-ee's was once found only in Texas, but has expanded into eight other states since 2019.

The Lafayette location is expected to open in 2026, along with another location in Ruston.
