Contractors are figuring out their next move in shoring up a building that partially collapsed onto O'Keefe Avenue over the weekend.
Teams installed support beams on Tuesday at the crumbling structure on Lafayette Street. Saturday night's partial collapse resulted in street closures and the evacuation of a nearby restaurant and the apartments above it.
The Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities owns the building, and met with contractors on Tuesday to assess what repairs are still needed and how long they may take.
