FedEx acknowledges that it's experiencing "localized delays" in deliveries of holiday packages in the Covington area.
About a dozen North Shore residents gathered outside the FedEx distribution warehouse near Covington on Monday in hopes of getting their gift packages before Christmas.
Employees in the warehouse were taking tracking numbers and phone numbers and letting customers know if their packages were found.
FedEx issued a statement that confirmed the problem and suggested customers to go to the company website.
