Officials are identifying a Baton Rouge man who was killed in a deer hunting accident in Tangipahoa Parish over the weekend.
The Sheriff's Office says the accident happened on Saturday at Sandy Hollow Wildlife Management Area.
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says the hunter told investigators he was shooting at a deer and didn't see Roberto Garcia behind the deer because of the underbrush.
The agency is also investigating a hunting accident that happened a week ago when a deer hunter was wounded in Zachary.
