New Orleans city officials are working nonstop to complete some infrastructure upgrades before the Super Bowl comes to town next month.

The list includes street repairs, pothole fixes, lighting upgrades, sewage repairs, and beautification projects.

Michael Hecht, president of Greater New Orleans, Inc., says 85 to 90 percent of the work should be finished by February 1, just over a week before the big game at the Superdome on February 9.

So far about 200 tasks are still incomplete.
