Gov. Jeff Landry says the Make America Great Again flag will fly over the Governor's Mansion today to honor the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
Landry made the announcement on Friday, and invited Louisiana residents to join him in flying both the US flag and the MAGA flag today.
Flags at the Capitol will fly at full-staff for Trump's inauguration, and will return to half-staff on Tuesday to continue honoring President Jimmy Carter.
The Louisiana Democratic Party says Landry's call to fly the MAGA flag is "inappropriate."
