New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell's office is initiating a new program to beautify the city.
City officials on Monday announced the "Love Your City" Cleanup Initiative. The City of New Orleans Neighborhood Engagement Office and the Department of Public Works are cooperating in the effort.
New Orleans-area residents, organizations and businesses will volunteer to tidy up the city.
The campaign will be carried out this coming Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers can sign up at the City of New Orleans website.
