Developers are continuing the demolition of the abandoned Six Flags amusement park in New Orleans East.
The redevelopment plan, known as Bayou Phoenix, will feature a waterpark, sports complex, hotel, and family entertainment center.
Producer Elvin Ross also plans to establish a cutting-edge production facility on site. Developers say they're looking for other partners as well.
Six Flags closed in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina heavily damaged the park.
The demolition project is expected to continue into 2026.
