The Pelicans will be without a key member of their rotation for the rest of the season.

New Orleans guard Dejounte Murray suffered a season-ending ruptured right Achilles tendon during last Friday's loss to the Boston Celtics. Murray was injured after chasing a missed shot and immediately exited the game.

The 28-year-old had already missed 17 games earlier this season with a broken hand.

Murray finishes the season averaging 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 7.4 assists in 31 games played.
