Louisiana native Terry Bradshaw is making a splash in a visit to his home state.

The New Orleans City Council proclaimed Wednesday to be Terry Bradshaw Day in the city.

Bradshaw is from Shreveport originally, and he was the quarterback at Louisiana Tech before spending his entire 14-year NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He won the first of his four Super Bowls 50 years ago at the former Tulane Stadium, and visited Tulane University on Wednesday for the city honor.

Bradshaw has been a TV host on Fox Sports for 31 years.
