Report: Raptors Acquire Brandon Ingram From Pelicans

The Raptors are making a splash before the trade deadline.

According to ESPN, Toronto has acquired forward Brandon Ingram from the New Orleans Pelicans.

In return the Pels are receiving Bruce Brown, Kelly Olynyk, a first round pick and a second rounder.

Ingram is in the final year of his max rookie extension he signed in 2020 and is set to become a free agent this summer.

Brown has appeared in 17 games for the Raptors this season and averages 8.4 points per game.

Olynyk has averaged seven points over 23 games for Toronto.
