The New Orleans mayor's race is shaping up with LaToya Cantrell approaching the end of her tenure due to term limits.
City Council Member Helena Moreno has officially declared her candidacy. Former Orleans Parish Criminal Court Judge Arthur Hunter is also in the running, and is expected to kick off his campaign on Ash Wednesday with a press conference.
Council Member Oliver Thomas may soon enter the race, but hasn't yet made it official.
