A group of business and civic leaders are taking steps to reverse the ongoing decline in the population of New Orleans.
The City Services Coalition's initiative aims to improve city services so as to make residents want to stay.
A recent poll showed that two-thirds of respondents think New Orleans isn't working out as a place to live. The survey found 90 percent of respondents are frustrated with the Sewerage and Water Board.
The coalition calls for reforms to the civil service system and streamlining the process of getting a building permit.
