A Slidell pastor is facing prison time for taping three students' mouths shut at a Christian school.

John Raymond, the former headmaster of Lakeside Christian School in Slidell, used packing tape to silence three kids who were talking too much in class.

Raymond was convicted of cruelty to juveniles and sentenced to two years in prison, plus three years of probation.

If he posts a $100,000 bond, Raymond can stay out of jail while he appeals his conviction.
