Tulane University is facing pushback in its plan to end its DEI programs.

The school announced this week it's Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion will become the Office of Academic Excellence and Opportunity. The change was made to prevent losing federal funding.

Some aren't happy with the change, though. A protest was held yesterday outside the school.

Democratic Congressman Troy Carter says the threat to cut funding is part of President Trump's anti-free speech agenda.
