Donaldsonville Residents Excited By News Of Planned Hyundai Plant

Many Donaldsonville residents say they're excited about the idea of Hyundai building a $6 billion steel plant in Ascension Parish.

Local residents expect the plant and its 1,500 jobs to stimulate the economy in the area, including restaurants and other businesses.

The state has announced a partnership with local community colleges to train students to work at the plant.
