Mississippi Man Suspected Of Mail Theft In Livingston Parish

The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office says a Mississippi man is suspected of stealing thousands of dollars in checks from the mail.

Deputies say the suspect, identified as Jonathan Robertson, is still at large.

Investigators looking into complaints of mail theft found that stolen checks were being washed and cashed in person at banks in Walker.

So far the total stolen is around $18,000.

Robertson is believed to be in the Baton Rouge area.
