The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly shooting outside a Marrero business on Tuesday evening.
Deputies responded around 5:30 p.m. to the reported shooting near the entrance of Southern Refinishing LLC, a bathroom remodeling company on Barataria Boulevard.
They say a wounded man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name hasn't been disclosed.
So far there's no word about a suspect or motive. Anybody with information is asked to call detectives at (504) 364-5300.
