Pels' Dumars Vows To Set New Standard With Team

The new executive vice president of basketball operations of the Pelicans is ready to turn around the franchise.

Joe Dumars has vowed to "set standards" with the team following a disappointing 21-61 finish to the season.

Jose Alvarado and CJ McCollum were the only two players to attend Dumars' formal introduction.

Dumars has replaced David Griffin, who was fired last week following a six-year stint with the team.
