Joe Dumars has vowed to "set standards" with the team following a disappointing 21-61 finish to the season.
Jose Alvarado and CJ McCollum were the only two players to attend Dumars' formal introduction.
Dumars has replaced David Griffin, who was fired last week following a six-year stint with the team.
