The legal battle between the Orleans Parish School Board and Mayor LaToya Cantrell over millions of tax dollars is headed to court.

The board voted on Monday to accept their attorney's recommendation not to accept a deal offered by Cantrell's administration.

The district will instead pursue a court order requiring the administration to honor a $90 million settlement deal it made with the school district last fall and later backed out of.
