The Louisiana State Supreme Court is declining to hear the case of LSU Law Professor Ken Levy.

The court's decision leaves in place an appeals court's earlier ruling that vacated an injunction to put the professor back in the classroom.

LSU relieved Levy of his teaching assignments at LSU Law for the rest of the semester after he gave a profanity-laden classroom tirade against both Gov. Jeff Landry and President Donald Trump.

University officials say Levy is on paid administrative leave while they investigate the claims against him.
