The Department of Justice is retracting earlier findings of constitutional violations reportedly committed by the Louisiana State Police.
The DOJ had previously found the LSP had violated the Fourth Amendment by using excessive force, including the unnecessary use of tasers.
The department retracted these claims on Thursday.
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill thanked US Attorney General Pam Bondi for reversing what she called politically motivated claims by the Biden Administration's DOJ.
