A new PBS documentary tells the story of Louisiana artist George Rodrigue, creator of the famous "Blue Dog" paintings.
The film, titled "Blue: The Life and Art of George Rodrigue," presents the life of the Cajun artist, including his development of the "Blue Dog" series.
The documentary includes parts of the last known interview of Rodrigue in 2012. He died of cancer the following year.
The film begins airing on PBS stations on Thursday.
